Do you need help with your business’ VISION? Here are some pro tips:

- Your vision is WHERE we want to go. 

- Don’t over complicate it. Most leaders feel like the company vision needs to be so strategic that the team never really connects with it. Stay SIMPLE.

- It needs to be EXCITING. It’s okay if we’re not totally sure if we can do it (JFK: We’re going to put a man on the moon); it just can’t be lame.

- It must be CLEAR enough to inform our plans and goals.

The best example I know of a strong vision is when I announced to my fam of 10 that we were all going to Turks & Caicos for spring break. A few pictures told them all they needed to know. It was SIMPLE, CLEAR & EXCITING.

And only after the vision is cast, can we begin to lay out all the steps and milestones between here and there.

Cast a big vision and have some fun with it and watch the life come back to your team.
